Like a fresh new haircut or an effective skincare regimen, healthy, well-manicured nails are important for achieving a neat look. However, many of us are obsessed with painting our nails and this often results in dull-looking nails and cuticles. Hence, here are 5 simple tips that we have gathered to help you revive your nails!
1. Cut and file your nails regularly
Prioritise nail health over length, especially when your nails are brittle. You don't want them breaking easily! Also, don't forget to file your nails as this ensures that the edges of your nails are smooth and wont crack.

2. Take care of your cuticles
Most of us have the misconception that cuticles can interfere with nail growth. However, cuticles actually play a crucial role in sealing the skin to the nail plate. When removed, your nails become more prone to infections. It is best to let your cuticles to be with just slight trims when necessary.

4. Steer away from gel manicures
Gel polishes are hard on the nails, often causing your nail to be come too thin and thus much more prone to breaking. Moreover, the exposure to UV light during the drying process may also lead to skin cancer.
We recommend using our Withshyan nail polish as it is toxic-free and dries in 60 seconds so you can still achieve a great nail look at your convenience, without a UV lamp!
5. Use moisturising nail polish removers
Nail polish removers often use a solvent called acetone to efficiently remove the nail polishes. However, it can be very drying on your nails, cuticles and skin. Look out for removers that contain vitamins A or E as they can make up for the moisture lost! We recommend our Withshyan's nail polish remover as it contains vitamin E yet it is still very affordable.
